Teammagnify, Inc. (”Magnify,” "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy, or our practices with regards to your Personal Information, please contact us at hey@magnify.network.

When you visit our website https://magnify.network or web app and use our Services, you trust us with your Personal Information. In this Privacy Policy, we seek to explain how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If there are any terms in this Privacy Policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our sites and Service.

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website, our web app, and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this policy as the "Services"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to apps, websites, products, or services provided by companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Privacy Policy. Please check this page periodically for changes. Changes will become effective immediately but will not apply retroactively.

Our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all usage of our Service and together with the Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement with us. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used here have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect several types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Services to you.

2. Types of Information Collected

Personal Information

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering for the Services, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when participating in activities on the Services, or otherwise contacting us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include, but is not limited to:

(a) First and last name;

(b) Email address;

(c) Phone number;

(d) LinkedIn profile;

(e) Personal/Professional website;

(f) Resume and other job application data such as your education and employment history, self-reported skills and interests, and other similar data.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate. You must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Usage Information

We may also collect information that your browser sends when you visit, use, or navigate our site or Service. This may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services and other technical information.

This Usage Information may include information such as your computer's IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

When you access Service with a mobile device, this Usage Information may include the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

3. Use of Information

Magnify uses the collected information for various purposes, including, but not limited to:

(a)   to provide and maintain our Service;

(b)   to manage user accounts;

(c)   to send you administrative information, which may include service and new feature information;

(d)   to allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so;

(e)   to provide customer support;

(f)    to request feedback and contact you about use of our Service;

(g)   to keep our Services safe and secure (e.g. for fraud monitoring and prevention);

(h)   to detect, prevent and address technical issues;

(i)   to enforce our terms, conditions, and policies for business purposes and legal reasons;

(j)   to respond to legal requests and prevent harm;

(k)  to provide you with notices about your account and/or subscription, including expiration and renewal notices, email-instructions, etc.;

(l)   to provide you with news, special offers, and general information about other services which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information;

(m)  in any other way we may describe when you provide the information;

(n)  for any other purpose with your consent.

We may also use your information for other Business Purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience. We may use and store this information in aggregated and anonymized form so that it is not associated with individual end users and does not include personal information. We will not use identifiable personal information without your consent.

Additionally, we may also use your information to post testimonials. Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and testimonial. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, please contact us at hey@magnify.network and be sure to include your name, testimonial location, and contact information.

4. Retention and Modification of Personal Information

You can correct, update, or remove your Personal Information if it changes by updating your account. You can delete your account through your account settings, or by contacting us at hey@magnify.network.

If you choose to delete personal information from your account or you delete your account entirely, please note that we may not be able to completely remove your personal information from our systems in certain circumstances. For example, we may retain your Personal Information for legitimate business purposes, if it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, if required by law, or as retained in our data backup systems or cached or archived pages. All of your personal information that we keep will continue to be subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy to which you have previously agreed.

We will retain Usage Information for internal analysis purposes. Usage Information is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

5. Transfer of Information

The Services are hosted in the United States and are governed by United States law. If you are using the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country.

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. You can revoke your consent at any time by providing notice to us at hey@magnify.network.

(a)   Disclosure for Law Enforcement.

Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

(b)   Business Transaction.

If we or our subsidiaries are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Information may be transferred.

(c)   Third Party Service Providers.

We may share your data with third party vendors, service providers, contractors or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. Examples include: payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service and marketing efforts. We may allow selected third parties to use tracking technology on the Services, which will enable them to collect data about how you interact with the Services over time. This information may be used to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand online activity.

(d)   Business Partners and Affiliates.

We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services or promotions.

7. Security of Personal Information

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We take reasonable steps to maintain the security of your Personal Information; however, no data transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit or provide to us, so you do so at your own risk.

8. Marketing Communications

We may use your personal information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link. Please note that we may continue to send you administrative emails; for example, important updates to our Privacy Policy, even if you indicate that you no longer wish to receive promotional email from us.

9. Your Data Protection Rights Under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

You may have certain rights regarding the personal information we have about you if your Personal Data is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation. In some circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Access the Personal Data we have about you;
  • Correct the Personal Data we have about you;
  • Restrict the processing of your Personal Data;
  • Have your Personal Data deleted (i.e. the "right to be forgotten");
  • Object to the processing of your Personal Data;
  • Not be subject to automated decision-making;
  • Take your Personal Data somewhere else (i.e. the right to portability)

You may contact us at hey@magnify.network to make any of these requests. We may require you to provide proof of your identity before complying with your request. There may be situations where we are not required to comply with your request and we will let you know if one of those situations arises.

We hope that you don't ever have an issue with the way that we handle your Personal Data, but if you do, contact us at hey@magnify.network to let us know so that we can make it right. If you're ever not satisfied with the way that we handle your request, you can file a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine the Light Law") permits you to request in writing and obtain from us, once per calendar year, data about the personal information we shared, if any, with other third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us at hey@magnify.network and write "Request for California Privacy Data" in the subject of your message. Not all of the shared personal information is covered by the Shine the Light Law requirements and therefore only personal information which is covered will be included in our response.

11. Do Not Track

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and apps include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe how we do so.

12. Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), provide Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

13. Payments

When we provide paid products and/or services within our Service, we use third-party services for payment processing.

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

We use Stripe's payment processing gateway to process transactions made through our Service. Any payment you make, including your payment information, will be collected, used, and processed by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy. 14. Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third-party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or services.

15. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at hey@magnify.network. We will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.

16. Updates to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
